AI import
Import any broker or journal export, even with columns we have never seen.
Your broker's export does not match our template? The AI import reads any spreadsheet, whatever the headers and language, and adapts it into Afterburner's format.
How it works
- 1
Drop your file like any other import
The importer first tries the normal template parse. When the headers do not match, it offers AI import instead of failing. - 2
Confirm the column mapping
Before anything runs, you pair your file's columns with Afterburner's fields: entry date, entry hour, exit date and hour (optional), symbol, exchange (optional), direction, result, and trade taken (optional). The dialog pre-guesses the mapping; you just check it. - 3
The AI adapts the rows
The model converts your rows into canonical trades, streaming its reasoning live in the dialog so you can watch it think. Date formats, decimal styles, Long/Short spellings and the like are normalized for you. - 4
Review and confirm
You get the standard import preview: trade count, any columns that could not be recovered, the duplicate and overlap checks, then one click to commit. The original file is archived like any other import.
Credits and limits
5 / week
AI imports per account, on a rolling 7-day window
400 rows
Maximum rows per AI import
Live
Credit badge with a countdown to your next free slot
The import button shows your remaining credits. When they run out, the dialog displays a live countdown to the moment your oldest credit frees up. Duplicate files are caught by name before the AI runs, so a re-upload never burns a credit. A file longer than 400 rows is refused rather than cut: split it and import it in parts. The AI import is included with your plan and needs no API key of your own.
R-only files
If your file's result column already contains R-multiples instead of money (the importer detects this from the headers), the values are taken as R directly and skip the account size conversion.
Check the mapping, not the math
The AI is very good at format juggling, but the column mapping step is where you steer it. Thirty seconds of checking there saves any surprises in the preview.
