The AI analyst
A chat panel that knows your journal: where it is, what it sees, what to ask first.
The AI analyst is a chat panel that knows your journal. Ask it anything about your trades in plain words: it reads them, runs the numbers, draws the charts, and can even tidy up your journal once you say yes.

Opening the panel
The round star button at the bottom right of the screen opens it (its tooltip says Ask AI). It is there on the Dashboard, Analytics, the Simulator and every trade page. Click it again, or the X in the panel's header, to close it. Closing never cuts an answer short.
- On a computer or a tablet, the panel slides in on the right and pushes the page aside instead of covering it, so you can read your charts and the answer side by side. Drag its left edge to make it wider; double-click the edge to bring it back to its narrowest width. Whether it is open or closed is remembered.
- On a phone, it opens full screen. Tapping a link in the navbar closes it as the new page appears.
The panel at a glance
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| New chat | Starts an empty conversation. |
| History | Lists your conversations, newest first. Click one to reopen it, the trash icon to delete it. |
| API keys | Opens Connect a model, to add, change or remove a provider. |
| Model picker | Bottom left of the message box: pick the model and its reasoning effort (see Connect a model). |
| Message box | Enter sends, Shift + Enter adds a line. While an answer is being written, the send button becomes Stop. |
| Dictate | The mic, between the paperclip and Send: speak, and your words appear at the caret as you go, the caret following the last word. Everything that comes in while the mic is on, your words and what you type against them, shows in grey italics, and turns to plain text when you turn the mic off; what was there before stays as it was. The text stays editable while the mic listens: click anywhere to fix or delete a word, and the next words go where the caret is. Click the mic again to stop, or just send: Send takes everything on screen and stops the mic. After a minute without a word, the mic turns itself off. Your browser does the transcribing (on your device when it can, otherwise its own speech service); nothing is recorded. Chrome, Edge and Safari; not Firefox. |
An empty chat shows Ask your journal anything and six blocks, one per thing the assistant can do (testing your edge, charts, news, reading your trades, tags and edits, prop firms), each with an example prompt. Click a prompt to send it.
What it sees
- Your current view. By default the assistant works on the trades your filter bar keeps, the same ones the dashboard shows: their results, tags, notes, folders, times and price levels. Ask for "the whole journal" and it looks at every trade instead.
- The page you are on. It knows your account size and 1R, your KPIs, your active filters, your tag categories and folders. On a trade page it knows the trade on screen, so "this trade" or "my entry" just works. On the Simulator it sees your challenge and its results.
- Your language. Write in French, it answers in French. Answers are kept short; charts and tables do the heavy lifting.

Two ways to power it
Connect your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter (you pay them directly for what you use), or skip the key and use Afterburner from inside Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini on your existing subscription. Both are explained in the next pages.
