Results & Prop firm
The full Analytics report and the Simulator, on your backtest's trades.
Results reads your backtest with the complete Analytics report; Prop firm runs it through the Simulator. The same tools you use on your journal, on trades no one took yet.
Results
The header gives the project, its pairs, timeframe and period, the trade count and net R, and Export Report PDF. Below: the eight KPIs and every Analytics section, from the equity curve and calendar to Monte Carlo, rolling Sharpe and News, computed on the run's closed trades. Results in dollars use the project's account size and risk.
- Pairs counted. With several pairs, a dropdown keeps or removes pairs from the report (and from Prop firm), to see what each one adds.
- Every chart opens its trades, as on Analytics; the trade dialog is read-only here.
- Stale results are flagged. If you changed pairs, timeframe, period or account since the run, an amber note says the results use the run's settings, with Run again.
- No closed trade? The screen points you to the Console, where your prints and the engine's notes explain why.
Prop firm
The prop firm Simulator, on your backtest's closed trades. It opens on the setup you saved on the Simulator page (firm, account, risks, max losses per day) and follows it when it changes there. Changes made inside Talios stay in Talios. Every trade is checked at its worst point, so a trade that dipped through the drawdown breaches even if it closed in profit. See the Simulator section for how to read it.
A backtest is a hypothesis
Under about 30 trades, any number is anecdotal. Duplicate the project, change the period, and check that the edge holds on data the strategy was not tuned on before trusting it with an account.
