Notes & trade analytics
Trade notes, the per-trade charts and the news around each trade.
Numbers say what happened; notes say why. Every trade page carries both, plus a set of charts showing how this trade sits inside your whole journal, and the economic news around it.
Notes
Up to 2,000 characters per trade, written at logging time, during an import (the Notes column) or any time after. On the trade page, click the note to edit it, on any trade, imports included (an empty one reads Add notes…): ⌘ / Ctrl + Enter or a click away saves, Esc cancels. The chart dialog shows it on one line you can scroll, and edit the same way. Notes are searchable from the filter bar's notes filter, so "that trade where I wrote FOMO" is findable in seconds, and the AI analyst reads them too.
Per-trade analytics
Below the cards, the trade page repeats the journal's charts with this trade's group highlighted in purple: Monthly Performance, Win Rate by Session and by Day, Profit by Entry Day, Entry / Exit Hour Performance (with its zoom, the trade's own window lit), Profit by Trading Session, Profit by Calendar Month, Expectancy by Pair, the By Timeframe charts, Long vs Short, Average Duration and Duration vs Result (with this trade's dot on top). One look answers: is this trade typical of how I perform in this session, at this hour, on this pair, or an outlier?
They work on your filtered journal and behave like Analytics: hover for the figures, click to list the trades behind a bar (see Clicking charts).
News around this trade
At the bottom of the page, the News block first lists every economic release within 2 hours of the entry, on the trade's clock: its flag and title, its time, how many minutes before or after the entry it landed, and its actual, forecast and previous figures. Then come the three News cards of Analytics (Entries vs News, Near News vs Clear, News Days vs Quiet Days) with this trade's group highlighted. Flags, folders and the window are the same as everywhere else. See News.
