Analytics overview

A tour of the report: sections, insights, the PDF export and the demo.

The Analytics page is a full performance report computed live from your journal. No setup, no spreadsheets: every chart recalculates on every import and every filter.

How the page is organized

SectionWhat lives there
KPI rowEight headline metrics with mini charts and info popovers. See The 8 KPIs.
Custom chartsYour own saved charts from the builder, right below the KPIs.
CoreEquity curve, the monthly calendar, drawdown and its distribution, days between setups, cumulative win rate and the Breakeven Frontier.
Performance Over TimeMonthly performance, profit and win rate by entry day and by session, entry (or exit) hour performance, profit by calendar month.
By InstrumentExpectancy per pair, sorted so your best and worst pairs jump out.
By TimeframeWin rate and net result per entry timeframe (appears when your trades span at least two timeframes).
Execution & PsychologyLong vs short, average duration of winners vs losers, duration vs result scatter.
Quant AnalyticsMonte Carlo simulation and the rolling Sharpe ratio.
NewsHow your entries fare around economic releases. See News.

A chart that would only hold one bar stays hidden: trade a single session and the session chart steps aside, letting its neighbour take the full row.

Things that work everywhere

  • Filters scope everything. The report always describes the filtered set. The header shows the trade count and net result currently in scope.
  • R or dollars. The display toggle flips every axis, tooltip and KPI between R-multiples and dollars.
  • Insights under every chart. Each chart carries an automatic plain-language read: a summary sentence plus color-coded takeaways (positive, warning, negative). They are computed from your actual data, not canned text.
  • Info popovers. The small info icons open a definition of the metric, how it is computed, and how to read it, with your own numbers plugged in.
  • Every chart opens its trades. Hover a bar or a point to see its figures, click to pin them and list the trades behind it, click a trade to open it. See Clicking charts.
  • Ask the AI. The AI panel opens on Analytics too, and sees the same filtered trades. See the AI analyst section.

Export Report PDF

One button renders the entire report into an A4 PDF named after today's date, with a title header (generation date, trade count, net result) and every section laid out block by block, custom charts and News included. A row of cards is never split across two pages. The button shows a live percentage while it renders. Perfect for archiving a month or sending to a mentor.

The Analytics page has a public demo running the full suite on a 100-trade showcase journal. Everything on this page can be explored there before signing in, except the custom charts.
