The Dashboard

Your journal home: metric cards, the endless trade table and its columns.

The Dashboard is your journal home. It shows your headline metrics, the full trade table, and the two entry points for new data: Import and New Trade.

What is on the page

  • Metric cards. The eight headline stats (Net R, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Expectancy, Max Drawdown, Average RR, Best / Worst, Streaks) computed from the trades currently in scope, each with its own mini chart. See The 8 KPIs.
  • All Trades table. Every trade matching the active filters, with the entry count in the header. Click a row to open the full trade page.
  • Import and New Trade buttons. Top right. Import parses XLSX / CSV / XLS files; New Trade opens the manual logging form. Once they scroll out of sight, a round + button fades in at the bottom right (on a computer) so you can log a trade from deep in the list without scrolling back up.
  • The AI button. The star at the bottom right opens the AI analyst. See the AI analyst section.
  • The filter bar. Sits under the navbar on every journal and analytics page. Whatever it holds applies everywhere at once. See Filters & sorting.

The trade table, column by column

ColumnWhat it shows
DateEntry date of the trade. Default sort is newest first.
PairThe instrument, e.g. EUR/USD, US100, XAU/USD. One name per instrument whatever the source wrote: XAUUSD from a file and XAU/USD typed by hand both show as XAU/USD, NAS100 as US100.
TFThe timeframe the trade was taken on.
DirectionLong or Short, as a colored badge.
ResultThe outcome in R (or dollars if the display toggle is on $). Green for wins, red for losses, neutral for break-even.
SessionAsia, London, New York, Overlap or Off Hours, derived from the entry time.
EntryEntry clock time, in 12h or 24h format depending on your setting.
DurationHow long the trade was held.
Entry price, Take profit, Stop lossThe trade's levels, from the Levels card of its trade page (see Levels & positions).
TakenYES or NO: a trade you took, or a setup you skipped.
Tag columnsOne column per tag category you choose to show, with the trade's tags.
NotesThe start of the trade's notes.
ChartOpens the trade's chart in a dialog.
  • Sorting. Click any column header to sort by it; click again to flip direction. The sort is remembered (and synced to your account), and it also defines the order used by the trade page's previous / next navigation.
  • Choosing columns. The columns button at the top right of the table lists every column. Date, Pair and Result always show; every other column can be switched off, and any tag category can be added as a column of its own. Session, the three price levels and the tag columns start hidden; TF and Taken are only offered when some of your trades carry them. Hiding the column you sorted by puts the table back on newest first. Your choice is saved to your account, so the table looks the same on every device.
  • An endless list. The table loads its rows as you scroll, well ahead of the screen, so even a journal of tens of thousands of trades scrolls smoothly and never shows a blank row. Metrics and charts always use every trade, not just the rows on screen.
  • Back where you were. Open a trade and come back: the journal returns to the exact spot, with the trade's row briefly lit. A trade opened from elsewhere (Show in list from a chart or the AI) has its row centred.
  • Largest drawdown bracket. In date order, a thin grey bracket just right of the table spans the trades of your deepest drawdown under the active filters, from the first trade that took you under your equity peak to the last one before you were back to it. If that drawdown is still running, the bracket stays open and fades out toward your newest trade, marked as ongoing. It hides when you sort by another column.
  • Chart preview. Each row has a small chart button that opens the trade in a dialog, without leaving the table: its chart (with the drawing tools and the position tool), its entry and exit times (editable), its note and its tags. The row stays lit while the dialog is open. See The trade page.
  • Delete. Each row has a trash button (on hover with a mouse, always visible on touch screens). Deleting a trade removes it from the journal and from every metric immediately; its row greys, slides out to the left and the rows below close the gap. Deleting from a trade's own page brings you back to the journal on that row, which then leaves the same way.
  • On touch screens a tapped row turns grey at once while its trade opens; a finger just resting on the list does nothing.

A reminder of these shortcuts sits under the table.

The empty journal

A brand new account sees a short onboarding instead of the table, with Import RAFALE file (XLSX) and New Trade buttons and three steps: import your history, or log a trade by hand, then review your edge. The moment the first trade exists, the real dashboard takes over.

Duplicates show once

The same trade imported twice (say, a Rafale session pushed from the extension and the same file uploaded by hand) shows once, everywhere: table, metrics and charts. This is the Hide duplicates setting of the account menu, on by default; nothing is deleted. See Your account.
