AI analyst

In Claude, ChatGPT & Gemini

Use Afterburner inside the AI app you already pay for, with no API key.

Already paying for Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini? Connect Afterburner to it: the same analyst, with the same abilities, runs inside the app you already use, on your phone too, with no API key.

Where to start

Two places lead to the same setup: in the AI panel, Connect a model › Or use Afterburner inside Claude (or ChatGPT, or Gemini), and in the Settings dialog (the archive icon in the navbar), the Claude & ChatGPT section. Each starts with the same first step.

  1. 1

    Create your personal link

Click Create my link. Your link is created and copied right away. It holds your access, so keep it private: anyone with it can use your journal. It is only shown once; create a new one if you lose it.

In Claude

  1. 1

    Add a custom connector

In Claude (web or desktop): Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector. Name it Afterburner, paste your link, then Continue. The Open Claude connectors button takes you there (or open claude.ai/customize/connectors).
  2. 2

    Pick No sign-in

Your link already holds your access. Then click Add.
  3. 3

Turn it on in a chat

+ › Connectors › Afterburner, then ask your question, on the web, desktop or phone. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector.

In ChatGPT

  1. 1

    Turn on Developer mode

In ChatGPT's settings: Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced settings. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus or above).
  2. 2

    Create the app

Click Create, name it Afterburner, paste your link, pick No authentication, tick "I trust this application", then Create.
  3. 3

Use it in a new chat

+ › Developer mode › Afterburner, then ask your question.

In Gemini

The guide picks the right path for your country, shown with its flag:

Where you areHow it works
United States: Gemini appOn a computer, in Gemini: Settings › Connected Apps › Add a custom app, paste your link, then Next. Then, on your phone or the web, type @Afterburner and ask. No Custom apps in Connected Apps? Pick Other countries.
Other countries: Gemini CLIOn a computer (with Node.js 20 or later), install Gemini CLI, run the ready-to-copy command the guide shows (with your link already in it), then start gemini and ask your question.

In other apps

Cursor, Windsurf and any app that supports MCP connectors: add a new MCP server and paste your link as its URL. The Settings section also has Developer options (Claude Code, API) with a ready-made command and configuration for developer tools.

What it can do there

Everything the in-app assistant can: search your trades, compute stats, run calculations, read price action and the economic calendar, simulate prop firm challenges. Afterburner's web search uses the key connected in its AI panel; without one, the app searches the web its own way. Charts are described for the app to draw in its own way.

  • Edits and deletions are shown as a preview first, and applied only after you confirm in the chat. An unconfirmed change expires after 15 minutes.
  • Logging trades (up to 5 at a time): the app asks you for each missing field one by one (pair, direction, timeframe, entry, exit, result, one tag per category, folder), and saves the trade as soon as everything is given. Your answers are the confirmation.

Managing connected apps

Your connected apps lists every link with when it was added and last used. Remove disconnects that app at once. You can keep up to 10 links active. The connection requires an active Afterburner access; if a link stops working, the app tells you to create a new one.
