The trade page

Everything on a trade's page and in its chart dialog, and what you can edit.

Click any row in the journal and the trade opens on its own page: the real chart it was traded on, its context, notes, tags, and how it compares to the rest of your journal.

The layout, top to bottom

  • Header. One line: the pair, its direction pill (Long / Short), its result pill (green for a win, red for a loss, neutral for break-even) and, at the far end, the folder picker.
  • Entry / Exit bar. The entry and the exit, each as a day chip and a time chip, then the duration, the timeframe, the TAKEN / SKIPPED status and a delete button. Deleting returns you to the journal, where the row slides out.
  • The chart. Real candles with your entry and exit marked, indicators and drawing tools. Full page on it: Chart replay.
  • Tags row. One container per tag category; click to toggle tags on this trade. See Tags.
  • Notes. Click to edit, on every trade (see Notes & trade analytics).
  • The cards. Context (pair, direction, session, day), Performance (result, duration, timeframe, and MAE: how far the trade went against you), Timing (entry, exit, session, day) and Levels (entry, take profit and stop loss, picked on the chart: see Levels & positions).
  • Per-trade analytics and News. The journal's charts with this trade's group highlighted, and the economic releases around it.

Day and time chips

  • Click a day chip for a calendar, a time chip for a clock. Move the entry past the exit and the exit slides forward to keep the trade's length, its editor popping open. An exit can't be set before the entry; a trade imported without one shows a Set exit chip.
  • Press and hold a chip for a moment to copy it: it greys in, then says Copied. Days copy as 2026-05-08 and times as 14:32, the format TradingView's Go to date accepts: replay the exact moment in TradingView in two pastes.

Moving between trades

The trade page is a carousel over your filtered, sorted journal: the same order you see in the table.

  • Edge chevrons on the left and right of the screen, plus a compact prev / next control with a rolling 12 / 247 counter at the top.
  • Keys. ← and →, or W and X, slide to the previous or next trade.
  • Instant slides. The neighbouring trades are ready before you ask, so the slide lands on an already-drawn chart.
  • Back to trades returns to the journal at the exact spot you left it.

What is editable

Trade originEditable inline
Manual and AI-importedEntry and exit day and time (chips), the timeframe (in the info bar), the direction (click the pill to flip Long / Short), the result (click the pill and type the R, Enter saves, Esc cancels) and the TAKEN / SKIPPED status.
Native Rafale importsEntry and exit day and time, and the TAKEN / SKIPPED status. The rest is frozen: they are an exact record of a backtest.
Every tradeNotes, tags, folders, levels, drawings, and deletion.

A trade imported without a status shows NOT SET; a click marks it taken.

The chart dialog

The same trade, without leaving where you are: it opens from the chart button of a journal row, from any chart on Analytics, from the calendar and from the AI panel. It holds the chart (with indicators, drawings and the position tool), the editable entry and exit chips, the duration, session and timeframe, the note (click to edit), and the tags under the chart. The zoom icon next to the close button opens the full trade page; Show in list (when opened from Analytics or the AI) takes you to the trade's row in the journal. On phones the dialog fits the screen, with the chart leaving room for the tags.
