Core charts

Equity curve, calendar, drawdowns, setup gaps, win rate and the Breakeven Frontier.

The Core section answers the first question: is the equity going the right way, and how rough is the ride?

Equity Curve

Your cumulative result plotted across trades in sequence. This is the report's anchor: most other charts explain features you spot here. The insight line under it flags your current position versus the peak. Hover the curve for each point's trade ("Trade #195 · May 08, 2026") and click to open it. See over time redraws it on a calendar axis, day by day: each setup day sits at its date, so the curve stretches out where you waited longer between setups (See by trade brings the trade-by-trade view back). Its insights switch to time: your pace per trading week, how long you have been under water, and your longest wait.

The Calendar

A month grid where every day carries that day's net result, tinted green for a winning day and red for a losing one. Navigate months with the chevrons; it opens on your most recent month of trading. It is the fastest way to spot revenge-trading days and your weekly rhythm.

  • Pair pills. Each day lists up to three of its trades as small pills (the pair, coloured by outcome). More trades fold into +N more, which opens the day's full list with entry times and results.
  • Click a pill to open that trade in the chart dialog, right on Analytics.
  • Week column and month chip. Each week's net and trade count sit at the end of its row; a chip on top gives the month's trade count and net. Days from the neighbouring months are greyed and stay out of the totals. Today wears a ring.
  • Weekends only when needed. Saturday and Sunday only appear when your trades include crypto, the one market open on weekends, or when a trade actually falls on one; otherwise the grid runs Monday to Friday and each day gets more room.

Drawdown

The distance below the running equity peak at every point in time. Where the equity curve shows the climb, drawdown shows every fall: how deep it went and how long it took to recover. Read it together with the Max Drawdown KPI and the losing-streak math in Quant.

Drawdown Distribution

Every drawdown, from an equity peak down to its lowest point before equity got back to that peak, bucketed by depth in red bars, with a dashed line at the exact average depth. It tells you what a normal dip looks like for your strategy, so a drawdown in progress can be read against your own history instead of your nerves. The one still open counts too, with the depth reached so far, and the deepest bar always matches the Max Drawdown KPI.

Days Between Setups

How many trading days separate one setup from the next, as a histogram with a dashed line at the exact average: the wait you can expect before your next setup. Weekends don't count, so Friday to Monday is one day. Rare long breaks, like the jump between two backtest periods, are grouped into a final "N+" bar so they don't flatten the rest.

"See evolution" turns the same waits into a line over time: an EMA 20 of the trading days between setups, next to your overall average. A plain running average would flatten any change; the EMA follows your last setups. The higher the line, the longer you wait between setups, so the fewer setups you get; the lower, the more setups. A blue linear trend, fitted through every wait, shows the direction over the whole period, and the insights turn each wait into setups per week. The EMA starts at your 21st setup, seeded with the average of the first 20 waits, and the legend gives its current value.

Cumulative Win Rate

Your running win rate from trade 1 to N, to two decimals, with a reference line at 50% (break-evens stay out of it). Early on it swings wildly (small sample); watch it stabilize as trades accumulate. A slow drift down after a long stable period can be an early regime-change warning.

Breakeven Frontier

Win rate and payoff ratio only matter together: 35% wins can print money at 3R winners, 65% can lose money at 0.4R. This chart draws the line between the two. For every win rate (across the bottom), the curve gives the win / loss ratio you need just to break even. Under the curve, shaded red, is Unprofitable; above it, Profitable.

Your journal is the dot, green or red, tagged with your numbers ("54% WR · 1.42 RR"). The further above the curve, the more room you have. The insights tell you how much headroom (or shortfall) you have and which lever fixes it fastest: winning more often, or winning bigger.
